Flewelling Cattle Co is a family owned and operated purebred Polled Hereford operation with over 30 years of experience in breeding top quality cattle. Dad (Craig Flewelling) began his relationship with Hereford cattle in 1978 when he was hired on to manage Kilmorlie Farms, a breeding establishment that became responsible for supplying the world with some of the breed's leading genetics at the time. As the Kilmorlie era ended, a new era began as we were able to obtain a piece of the main Kilmorlie property and build our new breeding enterprise, Flewelling Cattle Co (FCC).

With our good connections in the business, and our access to superior genetics, we were able to establish a solid maternal base. Our philosophy has always been to develop strong, predictable cow families with exceptional phenotype and genetic merit... females with the ability to raise top calves year after year, and bulls that will lead the breed to improve and evolve.

Currently, there are 3 generations involved in the farm... Dad and Mom (Craig and Doreen), myself (Curtis) and my wife Erin, and our kids, Nathan and Avery, who were excited to have their first cow calve in the spring of 2010.

As our land base is limited, our focus is on quality...each cow must be a top producer as there is no room to carry mediocre stock. Though we breed only 30 females annually, each year we exhibit our stock at the top fall shows and are very proud of their ability to stand against the best.
